SlowExposures 2012 –
Tenth Anniversary Annual
Juried Exhibition Celebrating Photography of the Rural
South.
All are invited to submit
photographs for the Tenth Anniversary SlowExposures Photography Exhibition in
Pike County,
Georgia (one hour
South of Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson airport). Successful images should capture
those qualities that call to mind the rural American South with its unique sense
of place, diversity, contradictions and complexity.
The 2012 jurors are Brett
Abbott, Photography Curator of the High Museum of Art in Atlanta and Julian Cox, Founding Curator of Photography of
the Fine Arts Museums of San
Francisco. They will select up to 90 images in a blind
jury process. You may enter up to six (6) images online. All work must be
original to the artist and have been photographed within the past four (4)
years. An entry fee of $50 must accompany online entry and may be paid through
credit card or PayPal. The entry deadline is midnight June 15th and the show
